Quamby Estate Golf Course was one of the best kept courses Tim and I have played.

The greens were good though a tad slower than what we are used to. The bunkers are well-kept and the layout was tricky enough to be a challenge but still enjoyable to play.

The fairways were some of the best we’ve seen. It was mid February but they were lush and unblemished and a ball driven down the centre was rewarded by a brilliant lie, held up by blanket of even turf ready for an approach into the green.

Unfortunately my short game was terribly off on the day we played and the sprinklers were deployed on nearly every fairway but I still had fun around the nine hole layout.
