Georgetown was the first course of our 2020 North East Tasmania 2-day trip. We had the nine-hole layout to ourselves and generally the conditions were pretty good. Greens were a little slow compared to what we were accustomed to compared to our Seabrook home course. Rolling fairways helped drain the water away and the tee beds offered some scenic vistas over the Tamar River. Tim had a tough morning with a few wayward shots. I probably had my best showing of the trip shooting 19 stableford points (if we kept score in that format).
