A little hilly and a challenging layout. The greens are a good size and reasonably fair.
The signature hole would have to be a long par 5 around 550 metres… just under 600 yards long… that finishes with an elevated sloping green. Tough to score well on.
There’s two good par 3s. One is 150 metre on the first time around and 190 the back nine the other is a shorter 130 metre downhiller with amazing views over the township’s river and beach and out-of-bounds on the right hand side.
The course is realtively friendly to those that fade the ball. The trees that define the boundary between holes are mostly small or well formed… no gangly gums to grab errant recovery shots.
The aprons around the greens were very spongy and wet when we played. There was no option for bump and run play.
