Smithton was pretty dry when Tim and I played end of January 2019.

 

Not overly long, the fairways rewarded well-hit drives while tree-lined holes were really dangerous to wayward shots.

 

Although the greens were good our putting seemed a big off on the day with many

failing to get to the hole. After playing a lot of courses with faster greens during the week it was a struggle to get the feel of the Smithton putting surface.
